אורחI manage a school in Al Ain and we've gone through three different suppliers in the last two years trying to find large outdoor bins that can actually survive the heat and the daily beating from our maintenance crew. The last batch we bought had lids that warped within three months and wheels that just disintegrated. So now I'm doing my homework properly before ordering again. I'm trying to find a reliable 660 liter garbage bin supplier in UAE that sells commercial grade stuff, not the flimsy residential ones that get marketed as heavy duty. I came across Crateco while searching and their product photos look promising but you can never really tell from pictures. Has anyone here bought 660L bins from them and used them outdoors through a full summer? I need something that won't turn into a melted mess or get so brittle that it cracks when the guys slam the lid shut. Also curious about handle strength because our guys tend to yank pretty hard when the bin is full. I don't mind paying a bit more for quality but I'm tired of replacing these things every season. Thanks for any help.

אורחWarped lids and disintegrating wheels in three months usually mean recycled plastic with no UV stabiliser. Ask any supplier for the material spec and wall thickness in writing before you order. Do they hold to EN 840 or an equivalent standard, and can they show you the test sheet?

אורחThree suppliers in two years is exhausting, so good on you for doing the homework this time. Order one or two first and leave them in the sun through a few weeks of peak heat before committing to the full batch. Hope this round finally sticks.

אורחWe had the same story at our depot in Sharjah, wheels crumbling and lids curling by August. What helped was choosing bins with a steel axle and a reinforced lid hinge, and getting the supplier to agree to a replacement clause up front. Cost a bit more but we haven't swapped any in over a year.

אורחLook for virgin HDPE with UV stabilisation, because that's what stops the brittleness and cracking in summer heat out there. Check the lid hinge pins and the wheel material too, since solid rubber or PU wheels last far longer than hollow plastic ones. Also ask whether handles are moulded into the body or bolted on, as moulded ones take a hard yank better.

אורחWhat are the bins mostly holding, general waste or heavier stuff like garden clearing and canteen leftovers? That changes how much strain the handles and wheels take. And how many do you need, since a bulk order gives you room to ask for a trial unit first?
