So I'm hoping someone here has been through something similar because my Volvo XC60 has been acting up for the past few days and I'm starting to get a bit worried. It started with a rough idle in the mornings and a slight hesitation when accelerating, but now the check engine light has come on and the car just feels down on power. I've read some horror stories about the supercharger and turbo setups in these T6 engines and I really don't want this to turn into a huge repair bill. Someone at work mentioned that a failing MAP sensor or boost leak could cause these symptoms, but I'm honestly not sure where to even start with diagnosing it. I'm also wondering if maybe it's something simpler like spark plugs or ignition coils that just need replacing since it's been about 70,000 km since the last tune-up. Anyway, I'm planning to take it to a specialist this week and was considering taking it for Volvo car repair Al Quoz because a couple of people have mentioned that area has some decent independent garages that know these cars well. Has anyone dealt with similar issues on their Volvo and got any advice on what to check first or what kind of costs I'm looking at? I just want to avoid getting ripped off and make sure whoever works on it actually knows what they're doing.
